By accessing and using Indie Workbench, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement.
Indie Workbench provides a collection of digital tools for various tasks including: • Image manipulation (background removal, cropping, resizing) • PDF operations (splitting, merging, conversion) • File compression • Video conversion • And other utility tools We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our service at any time without prior notice.
When using Indie Workbench, you agree to: • Use the service only for lawful purposes • Not upload or process any content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable • Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks • Not use the service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our servers • Not upload files containing viruses, malware, or other malicious code • Respect intellectual property rights of others
Files you upload to Indie Workbench are: • Processed temporarily to provide the requested service • Stored temporarily in secure cloud storage (Vercel Blob) • Automatically deleted after processing or after a retention period • Not used for any purpose other than providing the service you requested • Not shared with third parties except as required to provide the service You retain all rights to your uploaded files. We do not claim ownership of your content.
Our platform integrates with third-party services: • Remove.bg for background removal (subject to their terms and usage limits) • Vercel for hosting and file storage • Neon for database services Your use of these integrated services is subject to their respective terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the availability or performance of third-party services.
While we strive to provide reliable service, we: • Do not guarantee 100% uptime or availability • May impose file size limits (currently 10MB for most operations) • May implement rate limiting to prevent abuse • Reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms We are not liable for any interruption, delay, or unavailability of our service.
The Indie Workbench platform, including its design, code, features, and content (excluding user-uploaded files), is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not: • Copy, modify, or distribute our code or design • Reverse engineer our services • Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices All trademarks, service marks, and logos used on our platform are the property of their respective owners.
Indie Workbench is provided 'as is' and 'as available' without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to: • Warranties of merchantability • Fitness for a particular purpose • Non-infringement • Accuracy or reliability of results We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any: • Direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages • Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities • Damages resulting from use or inability to use our service • Damages caused by third-party services we integrate with Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with our service is to stop using it.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Indie Workbench, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from: • Your use of the service • Your violation of these terms • Your violation of any rights of another party • Content you upload or process through our service
Your use of Indie Workbench is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our service, you consent to our collection and use of personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.
When you submit bug reports or feedback: • You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the information to improve our service • We may contact you for clarification or follow-up • Your contact information will be handled according to our Privacy Policy • We are not obligated to fix every reported bug or implement every suggestion
